No Bélier VTT without nice local food stands!
One of our objectives for the event is to focus on local food as much as possible! That's why we work with our partners to offer you food grown and produced only a few kilometers from the event. We present you our local producers just below.
Savoy Reblochon
On your run, of course we weren't going to forget to offer you some Reblochon de Savoie! Yes, Reblochon de Savoie is the emblematic cheese of the Aravis region! And yes, this Appellation d'Origine Protégée (AOP) cheese has been made in these mountains since time immemorial! In Haute-Savoie and Val d'Arly in Savoie, Reblochon producers adhere to strict, rigorously controlled specifications! This PDO guarantees that Reblochon will always be produced according to tradition: that our cows will always be fed the same natural diet that produces good milk, then used raw to make good Reblochon.
During your run, you'll no doubt see them: abundance, tarine and montbéliardes graze on the fresh grass and bask in the sun: they're the ones who produce the milk for Reblochon!
Even in summer, our cows and producers continue to produce Reblochon, and you'll see, it develops even more flavor! So you can enjoy Reblochon all year round. At the refreshment stations, recharge your batteries and taste this delicious local cheese. With its creamy texture and irresistible flavor, you'll quickly become addicted!
PS: We've been told that Reblochon improves the performance of great athletes...don't deprive yourself of it either before or after the race!
We're sharing insider information with you! We all love the mountains: you for your biking or trail running, and the producers for their work!
It's true that an "empty" field seems to be useless, and it's tempting to drive or run in it: beware! this is not the case... the fields may be empty today, but the grass is growing for our cows to come tomorrow or in the weeks to come... or maybe we'll be making hay (cutting the grass to feed the herds this winter), so take care of it and respect the fences! The paths and tracks are signposted and enable us all to preserve this mountain we hold so dear: let's respect our spaces and follow the tracks!
See you soon in Reblochon country!

Jeremiah's Pousse-Midi
