French medical certificate

Mandatory conditions for participating in Bélier VTT competition eventsVTT timed races, including Kids races):

a. for persons of legal age on the date of the competition:

• Either a license issued by a French federation authorizing competitive cycling (FFC, FFTri, UFOLEP*, and FSGT*) that is valid on the date of the event. (*For UFOLEP and FSGT licenses, the words "competitive cycling" must be included.)
• Either a certificate (paper, electronic, or QR code) indicating that the person has completed the FFC health module, in accordance with the law of March 2, 2022, aimed at democratizing sport in France, and its implementing decree of June 22, 2022, via its dedicated platform https://compte.ffc.fr/ whose terms of use will also be established by the latter. To be valid, the health certificate must have been issued no more than four months before the date of the event for which the person wishes to register. If it is not possible to obtain this certificate, a medical certificate stating that there are no contraindications to competitive cycling, dated less than six months ago, must be produced.

b. for persons who are minors on the date of the competition:

• Either a license issued by a French federation authorizing competitive cycling (FFC, FFTri, UFOLEP*, and FSGT*) that is valid on the date of the event. (*For UFOLEP and FSGT licenses, the words "competitive cycling" must be included.)
• If this license is not presented, the athlete and the persons exercising parental authority shall jointly complete the questionnaire relating to the state of health of the minor athlete, the content of which is defined by the decree of May 7, 2021 (Appendix 2). The persons exercising parental authority over the minor athlete shall then certify that each of the items on the questionnaire has been answered in the negative. Failing this, they shall be required to produce a medical certificate attesting to the absence of any contraindications to competitive cycling, dated less than six months prior.
