How to come to La Clusaz ?

It's no surprise that getting to La Clusaz on Friday January 10 and Saturday January 11 will be tricky, and you'll need to plan ahead if you don't want to miss Start !

There are several possible routes to La Clusaz. All roads lead to Bélier Blanc, so it's up to you to choose the winning route!

FROM ANNECY :

  • BY CAR 

→ Approx. 40-minute journey, via D16 and D909.

→ From Thônes, if traffic is heavy, take the Col de la Croix Fry via Manigod: recommended route

→ From Doussard / end of Lake Annecy, via Bluffy, then Thônes: recommended route

FROM LYON: 

  • BY CAR 

→ Take the A41 (linking Grenoble to Geneva) and exit at Annecy Nord. Then follow the signs for Thônes towards the Aravis resorts (30 km).

  • BY TRAIN 

→ From Lyon stations, go to Annecy, then use the bus connections. See information here.

FROM GENEVA : 

  • BY CAR 

→ Via the A40 (Autoroute Blanche), exit N°16 Bonneville, then head for Stations des Aravis (20 km).

→ Or A41, exit Annecy Nord, direction Thônes and Les Stations des Aravis (30 km).

→ From Geneva, go through the Borne gorges (Glère Val de Borne) then Saint Jean de Sixt.

  • BY TRAIN 

→ Use the Léman Express from Geneva, offering up to 6 trains per hour between Geneva and Annemasse (continuous service at weekends). Bus connections then take you to La Clusaz. See timetables here.

  • ARAVIS SHUTTLE

The village of La Clusaz has several blue zones, subject to European regulations, which allow you to park free of charge for a maximum of one hour (using a parking disc available for sale at the Tourist Office).

You can collect your race number on Friday January 10th from 4.30pm to 8.30pm at the Salle des Fêtes, 99 Route de l'Étale, La Clusaz.

Locker service

A deposit service will be offered at Bélier :

  • Friday: leave your bag at Start Place de l'Eglise, and return to the same place after your run or hike.
  • Saturday: leave your bag at Start at the Bossonnet Télémix, and meet him at the finish line in Place de l'Eglise.
Live monitoring and accompanying persons

Your companions will be able to follow you throughout your race via live tracking, thanks to mats placed along the course. Don't forget to let them know!

Prize-giving ceremony

A classification will be established for each event, except for the randonnees. Not all categories will be rewarded on the podium.

Skiing rando

The prize-giving ceremony will take place from 9:00 pm on the Place de l'Eglise. Scratch prizes will be awarded by gender and by event.

The prize-giving ceremony will take place from 9:00 pm, Place de l'église. Scratch prizes will be awarded by gender and by event.

*Attendance at the protocol for the athletes concerned is compulsory. Any absent runner will not receive his prize.

The tartiflette after the race

At Bélier, we want to make you happy ! We propose you a warm and friendly dish after the race: the tartiflette.

The tartiflette is included in your registration!

Trail

Tartiflette, priced at €10, is optional and must be reserved when you register.

Your companions will also be able to take advantage of this service on race night, at a cost of €12.
