Can I participate with my club?

Yes, of course, and there's also a club rate with a 10% reduction per bib number from the 8th onwards.

Where and when can I collect my number?

You can pick up your race number on Friday, January 9, from 4:30pm to 8:30pm, at the Salle des fêtes in La Clusaz .

You can also pick it up on Saturday January 10th, from 1.30pm to 7.30pm, at the Salle des fêtes in La Clusaz .

 

What should I wear when I participate?

We advise you to adapt your equipment to the weather conditions (at least tights or long trousers, a windproof and/or waterproof jacket, a hat or equivalent, a pair of gloves).

You can also go to each test page and find a compulsory and recommended equipment section.

How to be well shod to participate in the 14km or 8km Trail?

We advise you to use shoes with chains or spikes, snowshoes are not allowed for this event.

 

Are sticks allowed?

Poles are allowed on all our races and hikes.

What are the race schedules?
  • La Trace Poursuite (ski touring - competition format): Mass Start at 8pm on Friday, January 9, Place de l'Eglise.
  • La Trace Etoilée (ski touring - touring format): Mass Start at 7:15pm on Friday, January 9, Place de l'Eglise.
  • Trail 14 km: Mass Start at 7.30pm on Saturday January 10 at Start du Télémix du Bossonnet.
  • Trail 8 km: Mass Start at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, January 10 at Start du Télémix du Bossonnet
  • The 6 km snowshoe Rando : Start at 7.55pm en masse on Saturday January 10 at Start du Télémix du Bossonnet.

Do you have toilets at the event site?

You will have access to the public toilets of La Clusaz.

 

Is a post-race meal planned?

A tartiflette is included in the registration fee for the Trace poursuite and the Trace étoilée.

For the 8km and 14km trails and the Rando Raquettes, a €10 option is available at the time of registration.

Will I be ranked when I participate?

Of course, you will be able to compete with other participants except for the hikes.

What if I want to change my registration?

If you change your mind, you can send an e-mail to the Club des Sports de La Clusaz: info@club-laclusaz.com. Any change of registration to another event with a lower entry fee will result in a 6-euro administration fee being deducted from the refund.

Are pets allowed?

For safety reasons, no animals are allowed on the courses.

What are the conditions of reimbursement?

Any request for reimbursement of registration fees must be accompanied by a medical certificate justifying the inability to participate, or any other authentic document (death in the family, accident, etc.) and must be sent no later than 10 days after the event. A handling fee of 6 euros will be applied.
