And if you're particularly frosty like le Bélier, try the Super Bélier presented by the Caisse d'Epargne Rhône-Alpes. It's the weekend's combo: 10 km trail on Friday and 14 km trail on Saturday.

Required and recommended equipment

Required equipment

  • A headlamp in working order for the duration of the event (new batteries and power > 450 lumens),
  • A working, charged cell phone,
  • A whistle is mandatory,
  • A cup to keep you hydrated at refreshment points.

Recommended equipment

Shoes equipped with "chains" or spikes are allowed or even recommended, snowshoes are not allowed for this event.

We advise you to adapt your equipment to the weather conditions (tights or long pants, a windproof and/or waterproof jacket adapted to your size, a hat or equivalent, a pair of gloves).

Mandatory conditions

Compulsory condition for participation in the Trail du Bélier Blanc snow footrace events (Trail 8km, Trail 10km and Trail 14km - timed events):

As part of the implementation of safety rules, and in accordance with article L.231-2-1 of the French Sports Code, all participants in a competition must present the following information to the organizer:

For people of legal age on the date of the competitionparticipation in the event is subject to compulsory presentation :

  • Either an Athlé Compétition, Athlé Entreprise, Athlé Running license issued by the FFA, or a "Pass' J'aime Courir" issued by the FFA and completed by the doctor, valid on the date of the event. Other FFA-issued licenses (Health and Management) are not accepted;
  • Or a certificate (paper, electronic or QR Code) indicating that the person has completed the Health Prevention Course (or "PPS") set up by the FFA, as part of the law of March 2, 2022 aimed at democratizing sport in France and its application decree of June 22, 2022, via its dedicated platform whose conditions of use will also be established by the FFA(https://pps.athle.fr/). To be valid, the PPS must have been completed no more than three months before the date of the event for which the person wishes to register.

Unless otherwise agreed, an adult cannot present the organizer with a license from another federation.

For persons who are minors at the date of the competition Participation in a competition is subject to presentation to the organizer of either :

  • Either an Athlé Compétition, Athlé Entreprise, Athlé Running license issued by the FFA, or a "Pass' J'aime Courir" issued by the FFA and completed by the doctor, valid on the date of the event. Other FFA-issued licenses (Santé, Encadrement and Découverte) are not accepted;
  • Or the athlete and the persons exercising parental authority jointly complete a health questionnaire, the content of which is specified by joint order of the Minister of Health and the Minister of Sport. The persons exercising parental authority over the minor must certify to the FFA that each section of the questionnaire has been answered in the negative. Failing this, they are required to produce a medical certificate attesting to the absence of contraindication to the practice of athletics or the discipline concerned, dated less than six months.

Foreign licenses are not accepted.

Triathlon licenses are not accepted (there is no agreement between the FFA and the FFTri).
